Frequently Asked Questions

Is a Thailand visa photo 35x45 mm or 4x6 cm?

It depends! Thai Embassies outside Thailand (Tourist Visa, Non-Immigrant before travel) accept 3.5x4.5 cm. Domestic Thai Immigration offices (Extensions, Visas on Arrival) strictly enforce the 4x6 cm rule.

Can I wear a white shirt?

It is strongly advised to wear a dark or bold colored collared shirt. Wearing a white shirt against a white background causes shoulders to disappear in the scan.

Are religious head coverings allowed?

Yes, provided the full face is visible from the chin to the top of the forehead and no shadows are cast on the face.
